CLOQUET ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE GRANTING OF A BUSINESS SUBSIDY

Notice is hereby given that the City of Cloquet, Minnesota (the "City") and the Cloquet Economic Development Authority (the "Authority"), will jointly hold a public hearing pursuant to Minnesota law concerning the proposed granting of a business subsidy to CMW Industrial Properties, LLC, or its assigns. The public hearing will be held at the Cloquet City Hall, 1307 Cloquet Avenue, Cloquet, Minnesota 55720-1656 on Tuesday, June 19th, 2012 at 7 p.m. T he purpose of the business subsidy is to assist CMW Industrial Properties, LLC, or its assigns, with the opening of a business in the property located at 1111 Cloquet Avenue in Cloquet, Minnesota. The public hearing is being held pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 116J.993 to 116J.995.

Members of the public may see the terms and conditions of the proposed business subsidy agreement prior to the public hearing at the offices of the City by contacting Holly Butcher, Community Development Director, at City Hall, 1307 Cloquet Avenue, Cloquet, Minnesota 55720-1656 (Telephone (218) 879-3347). At the public hearing the City Council of the City and Board of Commissioners of the Authority will meet to decide whether the granting of the business subsidy is advisable and all interested parties may express their comments for consideration by the City Council and Board of Commissioners.

Any person with residence in or the owner of taxable property in the City of Cloquet may file a written complaint with the City or Authority if the City or Authority fails to comply with Minnesota Statutes, Section 116J.993 to 116J.995, and no action may be filed against the City or Authority for the failure to comply unless a written complaint is filed.
