The Carlton VFW Honor Guard will be at the Eagle Lake Cemetery Monday, May 28, at 7:45 a.m. to present honors for Memorial Day. Please try to attend, as they may discontinue this service if they feel the attendance is low. Their tribute will continue at the Forest Hill Cemetery at 8 a.m.

There will also be an Honor Guard at the Wright Park on Monday, May 28, at 10:30 or 11 a.m. Come early so you don’t miss it.

We should also keep all our active duty military in our thoughts and prayers! They are: Ryan Beck, Brandon and Rebecca Burns, Justin Cieluch, Leslie Crist, Eric Davis, Tyler Envall, Mike Heikkila, Tanya House, Tiffany House, Blaise Johnson, Cole Johnson, Russell Johnson, Trevor Jokimaki, Levi Kasberg, Robert Kedrowski, Robert “Otto” Larson, David and Sherry Kedrowski Mitchell, Rochelle Pihlaja, Daniel "Bucky" Richards, Jr., Danielle Richards, Dustin Rinta, Cory Schleret, Logan Shiflett and Mike Thom. Please let me know of others I may have missed as we don’t want to leave anyone out from our area.

There will be a Pig Roast at Bethlehem Lutheran on Friday, June 8, from 5-8 p.m., serving barbecue sauce for those who like it, cheesy potatoes, cole slaw, baked beans, rolls, bars, coffee, and Kool-aid.

We will celebrate with the following graduates from Cromwell-Wright High School on Friday, May 25, at 7 p.m.: Andrew Anderson, Jaime Bridge, MaKayleigh Cahoon, Tara Cieluch, Matthew Fox Besch, Max Garcia, Garret Hackensmith, Kaicee Hakala, Brianna House, Austin Johnson, Lily Kemi, Gary Lott, Luiz Martins, Richard Olson, Jacob Ramberg, Johanna Stenson, Katrina Sworski, Joshua Taylor, Mark Thompson, and Marlene Wester. Congratulations all!
