Cloquet Senior High School Business Department has announced that Madeline Kiehn is the “Business Student of the Month” for May 2012. Students who apply for this award are chosen based on their activities, work experience, business courses, grades earned, a letter of recommendation, and an essay written by the student.
In addition to the numerous business courses that Kiehn has taken, she has also participated in student council, Mock Trial, National Honor Society, volleyball, basketball, LINK crew, Junior Rotarians, Junior/Senior executive boards, and was a member of the Minnesota North National Volleyball team.
Kiehn plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-River Falls next fall. She is the daughter of Annette and Richard Kiehn of Cloquet.
A senior student chosen as “Business Student of the Month” will also be eligible for the Stowell Family Scholarship to be awarded in May.
