NE MN Regional Science Fair announces Cloquet winners

Cynthia Welsh, director of the Northeast Minnesota Regional Science Fair and science teacher at Cloquet Public Schools, announces the following high school award winners from the 59th Annual Northeastern Minnesota and Second Annual American Indian Science and Engineering Fair held at the University of Minnesota-Duluth:

Bethany Rosemore (Cloquet senior)

1. First place, Chemistry Category, advances to Minnesota Academy of Science State Science Fair

4. Lake Superior Section of the ACS

5. Genius Olympiad Oswego, N.Y.

6. Intel International Science and Engineering Fair Finalist, Pittsburg, Penn.

William Bauer and Christian Wood (Cloquet seniors)

1. First place, Computer Science Category; advances to Minnesota Academy of Science State Science Fair

2. Department of Army Award

3. Intel Excellence in computer science

5. First place research paper; advances to the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium
