There have between seven and 10 kids each day and room to add more. They always like to meet new friends! Everyone is welcome to stop by their Grand Opening, Saturday, April 21, from 9:30 a.m. to noon. They are in need of a four-drawer file cabinet if you have one to donate. I was asked for my recipe for the Egg Bake I brought, so here it is: Sausage Scramble: 1 ½ lb. sausage, ham or bacon (I used sausage), 18 eggs, 2 c. milk, 1 ½ tsp. salt, 3 c. or 1 pkg. sharp cheddar cheese, and 3 c. of garlic and onion bread croutons. Heat oven to 325 degrees and place browned sausage in greased 9x13 pan. Beat eggs, milk, and salt. Stir in cheese. Pour mixture over meat. Sprinkle croutons on top and bake for 45 minutes to one hour. Let stand five minutes. Best for large company breakfast and can be mixed 12 hours ahead of time and refrigerated until put in oven. Do not cover.
