Students at Churchill Elementary hold a flag raising ceremony on Friday, March 23. The flag, from the "Iron Rangers,” was flown over Camp Buehring, Kuwait, on Christmas Day in 2011, with a certificate of authentication. George Skutevik of Cloquet, whose daughter, Sydney, is a second-grader in Christine Carlson’s class at Churchill, sent the flag as a thank you for a care package the children sent to him.
