To the Editor:
Congressman Chip Cravaack wants to preserve the mission of the 148th Fighter Wing in Duluth.
He should rather be seeking to shut the wing down, and spend that money on schools, roads, transportation, jobs, health care.
Each day as we see fighters flying over Hermantown and the greater area, we are reminded of the waste of millions of dollars that these killing machines represent. They represent death and destruction in Iraq and Afghanistan, and for what?
We ostensibly spend these millions of dollars because of the events of Sept. 11, 2001, saying that we must fight “error.”
Actually, the attacks of 9/11 were done by elements within our own government, likely aided by the Israeli Mossad. And where was the United States Air Force on that day, the one day we actually needed them?
No where to be found.
So shut them down, rewind, get to the truth about our history, in order that we might go forward with honesty and integrity.
