Student involved in bike-bus accident
Tuesday at approximately 3 p.m. Cloquet Police, along with the Cloquet Area Fire District, were called to an accident involving a 10-year-old child and a Cloquet Transit School Bus.
Tuesday at approximately 3 p.m. Cloquet Police, along with the Cloquet Area Fire District, were called to an accident involving a 10-year-old child and a Cloquet Transit School Bus. The accident occurred near the intersection of 10th Street and Doddridge Avenue in Cloquet. The child, a student from Washington Elementary School, was riding her bicycle near the intersection when she collided with the school bus. The child was transported to Cloquet Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and ultimately transferred to Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth. Cloquet Police, along with the Minnesota State Patrol (Commercial Vehicle Division), are still investigating the accident at this time. No further information is available.
