FDLTCC earns ‘Large Business of the Year’ award

Cloquet Chamber hosts annual meeting, awards banquet March 1,

The Cloquet Area Chamber of Commerce hosted their Annual Meeting and Banquet on Thursday, March 1, at the Otter Creek Convention Center at the Black Bear Casino Resort. For 59 years, the Cloquet Area Chamber of Commerce has annually recognized the significant contributions that area individuals and businesses make to the local, state and national economies with the presentation of awards and recognition to its member businesses at the Annual Meeting.

The 2011 Large Business of the Year Award was presented to Larry Anderson and his staff at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College.

The 2011 Small Business of the Year Award was presented to Tony Vittorio and his team at US Bank.

The 2011 Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to Reneé Birman of Cloquet Ford Chrysler Center.

“We have been able to achieve success through the input and involvement of our members, from the largest to the smallest business,” said Kelly Zink, Chamber president. “Our strength is derived directly from our membership. Our mission is to add value for our members by leading, informing and advocating business interests.”
