COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING

WEDNESDAY - JANUARY 18, 2012

The Wrenshall board of Education's Committee of the Whole meeting was held on Wednesday, January 18, 2012.

Superintendent Herman presented notes from the previously held Community/School Sub-Community meeting. The next meeting is scheduled for February 1st at 5:00 pm. It was requested that the list be downsized to 10 doable items.

To-date we have received 4 applications for the business manager position with a 5th on the phone today. Two of the applicants have business manager experience. One applicant is an accountant with grant writing experience, but no school experience. Plans for interviewing will be discussed on Monday, January 23rd.

Discussion regarding the purchase of a new van.

Discussion regarding a Leave of Absence Request submitted by Alice Kloepfer.

Superintendent Herman presented 2 school calendar options for the 2012/2013 school year.

Discussion regarding options for a fitness center for the general public.
