SPECIAL MEETING

WEDNESDAY - JANUARY 18, 2012

The Wrenshall Board of Education's Special meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 by chairperson Powers.

Board members in attendance were Janaki Fisher-Merritt, Matt Laveau, Deb Bryce, Troy Powers and Renae House. Also in attendance were Superintendent Rick Herman and Principal Sue Frank. Board secretary Candy Christensen and Board member Shane Kuhlmey were absent.

MOTION by Fisher-Merritt; seconded by Laveau to amend agenda to consolidate items 5-9 into 1 motion. Motion carried.

MOTION by Fisher-Merritt; seconded by Laveau to keep the same Board Leadership positions and committee assignments for 2012. Motion carried.

The 2012 Leadership positions are as follows:

- Chairperson - Troy Powers

- Vice Chairperson - Matt Laveau

- Clerk - Deb Bryce

- Treasurer - Janaki Fisher-Merritt

The 2012 committee appointments are as follows:

Team 2 - Laveau, Bryce & House

MSHSL: Powers

Safety: House

Special Education: Kuhlmey

Tech Prep: Kuhlmey

Technology: Laveau

Legislative Liaison: Fisher-Merritt

Budget: Fisher-Merritt & Powers

Operating Capital: Kuhlmey & House

Meet and Confer: Laveau & Fisher-Merritt

Staff Development: House

MOTION by Powers; seconded by Bryce to approve meeting dates and times as presented. Motion carried.

MOTION by Laveau; seconded by Bryce to adjourn meeting at 6:05 p.m. Motion carried.
