All Conference Selections

Boys Hockey

The Lake Superior Conference recently selected the following athletes to the 2011-2012 Boy Hockey All Conference team:

First team – sophomore forward Karson Kuhlman and senior goalie John Scheuer of Cloquet-Esko-Carlton, Judd Peterson of Duluth Marshall, and Jared Thomas, Jared Kolquist and Brian LeBlanc of Hermantown.

Second team – Levi Talarico of Duluth Denfeld, Ian Ecklund of Proctor, Jake Bushey of Duluth Marshall, Nolan Holcombe and Brett Bukowski of Superior, and Matt Mensinger of Hermantown.

Honorable mention – Daniel Litchke of Superior, and Ben Campbell and Zach Thompson of Duluth Denfeld.

Girls Basketball

The Lake Superior Conference recently selected the following athletes to the 2011-2012 Girls Basketball All Conference team:

First team – Jessica Lindstrom and Hailey Kontny of Superior, Carmen Bergstedt and Rachael Hoium of Hermantown, and Britt Brennan of Ashland.

Second team – junior Avery Bieri of Cloquet, Raya Kosey of Superior, Nicole Kucza of Hermantown, Emily Stephenson of Ashland, and Leah Hamm of Duluth Denfeld.

Honorable mention – Olivia Bretting of Ashland and Kyra Harty and Micayla Westendorf of Proctor.
