Investigation and an autopsy have determined that Larry Ralph Martin, age 66, of Twin Lakes Township in Carlton County died from head trauma sustained in an accidental fall. Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor to the fall.
The 71-year-old female who also resided at the home has been identified as Anna Mae Mackai. According to family members, she is currently being treated at a Duluth hospital for a pre-existing medical condition.
The two were discovered by authorities after a visitor to the home was unable to gain entry and reportedly looked through the window and saw Martin's body on the floor.
