With all but 10 precincts spread over Chisago, Itasca and Hubbard counties reporting, the results of the non-bindng DFL straw pole held at the caucuses in the 8th Congressional District on Tuesday Feb 7th were as follows:

Delegates to DFL county conventions were selected separately. These delegates will select delegates and alternates to represent their county at both the district and state conventions where a single candidate for DFL Party support in the coming elections will be chosen. The 8th Congressional District DFL convention will be held at Spirit Mountain, Duluth, on May 5 and 6.
