Third-period goals lift Cloquet-Esko-Carlton over Superior

Cloquet-Esko-Carlton 4, Superior 2

Karson Kuhlman, Nate Niemi and Drew Dincau scored third-period goals to lift the Lumberjacks past the Spartans in a Lake Superior Conference game Tuesday at Wessman Arena.

Justin Ketola made 16 saves for the Lumberjacks (12-5-2, 3-0), who remained atop the conference standings, while Zach Reiswig stopped 29 shots.

Daniel Mikel and Aaron Miller scored for the Spartans (13-6-1, 2-2), who returned home for the first time after a 14-game road trip.
