CITY OF CLOQUET ZONING CASE 12-02: CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (MUTTY TRAILS - DOG KENNEL) 398 FREEMAN ROAD

Notice is hereby given that there will be a public hearing to consider a Conditional Use Permit for a new Dog Kennel business (Mutty Trails) at 398 Freeman Road. Application has been received from, property owner Scott and Christine Johnson of 398 Freeman Road, pursuant to 17.6.03 Subd. 3 Subp. A of Chapter 17 of the City Code. The property is unplatted and is located in Section 2, Township 49N, Range 17W (PIN 06-510-0298). A Conditional Use Permit is required for a Dog Kennel in the Farm Residential Zoning District, which is the zoning of the property on which it is proposed. The property is nine acres in size and the kennel / boarding area would be located in a proposed new accessory structure with insulated walls.

The hearing will be conducted by the Cloquet Planning Commission at its regular February meeting on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 7:00 pm at the Cloquet City Hall, 1307 Cloquet Avenue, Cloquet. Persons wishing to comment on the proposal may do so in person at the hearing, or in writing by addressing their comments to the Community Development Department, 1307 Cloquet Avenue, Cloquet, prior to the hearing.
