REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The Fond du Lac Reservation Business Committee is soliciting proposals from qualified ARMER approved vendors to provide equipment and installation to Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa's Law Enforcement Department. The proposed project will involve radio equipment and installation.

The primary objective of this RFP is to equip Law Enforcement vehicles with three ARMER capable radios. We are asking that proposals be for 800MHz remote mount mobile radios with at least 256 channels, to include appropriate encryption, software and installation. The selected vendor must be on the ARMER approved list and follow the guidelines set for the ARMER 800MHz trunked public safety radio system. The Fond du Lac Reservation Business Committee would like to see project design options and cost estimates for this project.

The selection process is competitive, in that several vendors will submit a written proposal and a cost estimate to complete the objectives listed above. The proposal should include, but not be limited to:

- Detailed budget

- Detailed Radio Specs

- Experience working with Indian Reservations

- Fee structure

The due date for proposals will be February 17, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. Please submit proposals to the Fond du Lac Planning Division, 1720 Big Lake Road, Cloquet, MN 55720. Please submit 4 copies of your firm's proposal.

After a review of the proposals has been conducted, the successful candidate will be notified, based upon the final decision of the Fond du Lac Reservation Business Committee.
