Wilderness to honor military at game in Cloquet

JUNIOR HOCKEY: The league-leading Minnesota Wilderness faces second-place Dryden (Ontario) at 7:30 p.m. today at the Northwoods Credit Union Arena in Cloquet in a Superior International Junior Hockey League game that will benefit the Defending the Blue Line organization.

The league-leading Minnesota Wilderness faces second-place Dryden (Ontario) at 7:30 p.m. today at the Northwoods Credit Union Arena in Cloquet in a Superior International Junior Hockey League game that will benefit the Defending the Blue Line organization.

While admission is free, donations will be accepted. Defending the Blue Line provides equipment, hockey camp entries, NHL tickets and grants for association fees for children of U.S. military personnel. More information on the organization is available at DefendingTheBlueLine.org.

The Wilderness (32-3) is ranked No. 2 among 128 teams in the Canadian Junior Hockey League. Dryden (22-15) is 4-1 the last five games.
