Hermantown hangs on against Cloquet

Hermantown’s Zach Goplin scored 17 points and Kevin Folman added 15 and the Hawks withstood a last-second miss to defeat Cloquet 61-60 in a Lake Superior Conference high school boys basketball game Tuesday night at Cloquet.
Adam Laine had 19 points to lead the Lumberjacks, whose last-second 3-point attempt by Maxx Brenner rimmed out.
Hermantown improved to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the LSC.
