Senior Savanna Trapp scored 16 points to lead fifth-ranked Esko past Grand Rapids 67-30 in a high school girls basketball nonconference game Monday night at Esko.
The Eskomos (2-1) used a stingy defense that allowed only 11 field goals to pull away from the Thunderhawks.
Trapp, a 6-foot-9 center who is bound for UCLA next season, also grabbed nine rebounds and blocked six shots.
