Shayla Johnson, 23, of Cromwell, daughter of Lori Johnson and Todd Johnson, died over the weekend. Her funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 6. We keep her family in thoughts and prayers.
The administration of Cromwell-Wright School would like to extend their sincere congratulations to students and staff for the excellent results on last year’s MCA tests that moved our district out of AYP. The commitment and dedication to academic excellence have resulted in this success. Well done and keep up the great work!
A Chill-O-Ween Party will be held Oct. 28 at the Cromwell Park Pavilion, with the time to be determined at a later date.
Parents’ Night will be held for football and cross county teams Oct. 14. More details will be in the Bus Bulletin.
Parents’ Night for volleyball will be Oct.18. There will be an appreciation dinner Oct. 17, so look for invitations soon.
The AARP 55 Alive Refresher course will be held Oct.13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call Lindsay Lally at 218-644-3739 to sign up.
The Cromwell Medical Clinic will hold a Flu Shot Clinic on Oct. 18 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, but call 218-644-3381 to schedule an appointment.
Don’t forget that the Book Nook is open and collecting food for the local food shelf through all of October.
