Cromwell tops Floodwood in Nine-Man playoffs

CROMWELL 30, FLOODWOOD 12

Senior quarterback Jared Hutar rushed for two touchdowns and tossed another as the Cardinals topped the Polar Bears in their Nine-Man Section 5 semifinal Saturday night in Floodwood.

Willow Christensen ran for two TDs for Floodwood (5-5).

Cromwell (6-4) will face South Ridge (9-1) at 6:45 p.m. Friday at Public Schools Stadium for the section championship.
