Woman jumps in front of moving train in Cloquet, pronouced dead
The Cloquet Police Department report that an adult female jumped in front of a train at 2:30 a.m. today. Identification is being withheld pending notification of the family.By: Press release, Pine Journal
This from the Cloquet Police Department: On Friday September 23, 2011 at approximately 2:30 a.m. a Burlington Northern Railroad employee reported to 911 dispatch that an individual had jumped out in front of a moving train in the area of Broadway Avenue and Avenue B in the city of Cloquet.
Cloquet Police, Cloquet Area Fire District and Burlington Northern officials responded to the scene. One adult female victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police do not suspect foul play. No further information is available at this time pending family notifications. Investigation continues.
