Outlook: Daniel Hudrlik rushed for 162 yards on 16 carries and scored the first two touchdowns as Crosby-Ironton rolled over Duluth Marshall 35-7 on Friday. Hudrlik, Zack Olander and Dylan Wasserzieher combined to rush for more than 300 yards. The Rangers’ lone loss came to Eveleth-Gilbert and Crosby-Ironton is in a four-way battle for the top seed in Section 6AA. These teams’ previous meeting came in the 2007 Section 7AAA playoffs, with Esko winning 27-22. ... The Eskomos edged Aitkin 16-14 on the road as Riley Mudek (114 attempts, 775 yards, 6 touchdowns) led the way with 107 yards rushing on 20 carries. Wyatt Begay (50-381) averaged 7.8 yards per carry vs. the Gobblers and Garrett Iverson (71-396, 7 TDs) added 67 yards on 12 carries. Ryan Holte (15 receptions, 203 yards) is the top target for quarterback Marc Peterson (56 completions, 107 attempts, 735 yards, 4 TDs).
