Cloquet police seek information in suspected arson

The Cloquet Police Department is asking for the public’s help in an arson investigation.
Police reported Monday that a person in a home on the 2300 block of Kelly Avenue had to put out a fire at the home with a garden hose about 9 a.m. Sunday. The damage extent was not reported.
Occupants of the house were interviewed, police said, and police were led to believe that the fire was set intentionally. A suspect was soon sought and arrested Sunday, police said. Charges are pending.
Police ask that those with information call (218) 879-1247 during daytime office hours and 911 any other time.
