Wright-Cromwell News

Just a few items this week as my computer died and I’m at the home of a friend trying to get the news out this week. I already had it all done and then pressed a button and the whole thing disappeared. Oh well, start over and hope it goes better now!

Just a few items this week as my computer died and I’m at the home of a friend trying to get the news out this week. I already had it all done and then pressed a button and the whole thing disappeared. Oh well, start over and hope it goes better now!

Our sympathy to the family of Gerry Bradford, 77, who died Sept. 8, 2011. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.

There will be a Spaghetti Dinner Benefit for John and Sue Arfman on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 1-7 p.m. followed by bingo from

7-9 p.m.

There will be a Spaghetti Dinner benefit for Omok “Tina” Fahrendorff on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 5-11 p.m. at the Fireside in McGregor. The dance will be from 8-11 p.m. Tina lives in Wright and has cancer.

The YOT Dance in Cromwell is held on the fourth Thursday of each month and this month’s dance will be on Sept. 22 and not as previously advertised.

The YOT is also sponsoring a defensive driver course. Call Lindsay Lally for details at 218-644-3739.

The All-School Reunion books are now available so if you didn’t get one, or know of someone who does, please call me and I will get you one. Also, I can mail them if you send me a check for $15 to 620 Center Road, Wright, MN 55798. Otherwise books are $10 and will be available in area stores and businesses or at the school. Thanks for all the work on the committee that made the reunion a huge success.

Hope to have the computer working by next week. So, that’s all from Tamarack Lake.
