James Griffin rushed 36 times for 202 yards and two touchdowns to lead Fond du Lac to a 20-12 Minnesota College Athletic Conference victory over previously undefeated Ridgewater on Saturday in Willmar, Minn.
The defense of the Thunder (4-2 overall, 2-0 MCAC Northern Division) forced three interceptions by the host Warriors (5-1, 2-0 MCAC Southern Division). Rial Wells had his league-leading fifth interception for Fond du Lac.
The Thunder host Mesabi Range at 3:30 p.m. next Saturday at Bromberg Field in Cloquet.
