Meeting on predatory offender moving to Moose Lake Township

The Carlton County Sheriff’s Office is holding a community notification meeting next week regarding a Level 3 predatory offender who is moving to the South Riverside Road in Moose Lake Township on Oct. 5.

The Carlton County Sheriff’s Office is holding a community notification meeting next week regarding a Level 3 predatory offender who is moving to the South Riverside Road in Moose Lake Township on Oct. 5.

Dustin Kenneth Lee Nelson, 29, has lived in Barnum Township since July 2010. Nelson approached an adult woman who didn’t know him in a public park, restrained her and pulled her to the ground. He is a white man, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 183 pounds, with blue eyes and blond hair.

Tuesday’s community notification begins at 6 p.m. at the Moose Lake City Hall, 313 Elm Ave.
