Eileen Ann Grover, 97, of Cromwell, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, in Sunnyside Health Care Center, Cloquet. Her funeral service was on Aug. 8 in Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery, Cromwell. 

Our sympathy to the family of Cromwell native Philip Langevin, 69, of Laughlin, Nev., who died on June 9, 2011. Our sympathy to his brothers, Ron and Cal; nephews, Mickey, Gene and Philip; and niece, Corrine. 

The Tri-Community Food Shelf will be happy to accept donations of fresh garden produce from persons who would like to donate their extras. They are open every Friday from 3-5:30 p.m. in Cromwell and will accept donations from 3-4 p.m. so they can distribute the items that day. Please DO NOT leave items when no one is there! 

The Cromwell Community Blood Drive will be held Monday Aug. 15, at Bethany Lutheran Church from 2-6 p.m. Call Barb Lehti at 218-644-3610 to sign up or for more

information. 

The community is opening a day care center in Cromwell at Villa Vista. Volunteer helpers are needed to do the remodeling and cleaning to make this happen. The center is also looking for donations of high chairs, short table to eat at, kid chairs, refrigerator, microwave, broom, vacuum, cleaning supplies, towels, Kleenex, hand washing soap, three to four Pack-and-Plays, rocking chair, changing table, diaper genie pail, bookshelves, adult desk, desk chair, file cabinet, sand and water table, kid size picnic table, outdoor sandbox, swing set, ride-on cars, outside toys, storage shed, strollers, etc. Call Angie at 303-819-6901 for more information or if you have donations.
