The Esko School Board voted unanimously Tuesday night to place two referendums on the November ballot.

The first asks voters whether or not to pass an operating levy equal to that of $341 per pupil in the district, kindergarten through 12th grade. That amount, which is not the amount taxpayers would pay, would generate between $300,000-350,000 per year (depending on how many students there are) for the district to use in all facets of operating the schools.

The other Nov. 6 referendum will ask voters for $2.7 million to fund new and/or improved athletic fields, including a football/soccer field with bleachers, lights and a press box.
