Strong thunderstorms rolling through Twin Ports

The National Weather Service in Duluth said the storms could bring half-inch-diameter hail, 40 mph wind gusts, brief heavy downpours and considerable cloud to ground lighting.

A lie of strong thunderstorms was moving across southern St. Louis and Carlton counties late this morning.

The National Weather Service in Duluth said the storms could bring half-inch-diameter hail, 40 mph wind gusts, brief heavy downpours and considerable cloud to ground lighting.

The storms will continue to move from west to east across the region, reaching Duluth-Superior about 11 a.m.

No severe storm warnings have been posted.
