Victim of motorcycle accident in Carlton County identified

The Minnesota State Patrol has identified the person killed in a Carlton County motorcycle crash early Saturday as a 56-year-old Cromwell man.

The Minnesota State Patrol has identified the person killed in a Carlton County motorcycle crash early Saturday as a 56-year-old Cromwell man.

The State Patrol reported that Reid Kirkpatrick died in the crash on Minnesota Highway 210 at Olesiak Road near Sawyer about 1:45 a.m. Saturday. Kirkpatrick was traveling west on Highway 210 when his motorcycle left the road and overturned.

Road conditions were dry at the time, the Patrol reported. Kirkpatrick was not wearing a helmet.
