The Great Lakes Aquarium will open an exhibit by nature photographer Craig Blacklock from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday with a reception and the artist signing copies of his new book, “Apostle Islands and Pictured Rocks — From Land and Sea.”
The venue for the Moose Lake man's latest show is especially appropriate, considering that he was a source of inspiration for the designers of the aquarium. Much of the building’s color palate was drawn from his well-known previous work, “The Lake Superior Images.”
The reception at the aquarium’s fine arts gallery is free and open to the public.
