Vikings strike Thunder twice

Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College dropped a doubleheader Sunday at Itasca Community College in Grand Rapids, 14-2 and 16-6.
Leading hitters in the doubleheader for the Thunder included Donnie Roberts, who was 4-for-7 with a double, and Richard Jubie, who went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBIs. Tony Klaas was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.
Cody Anderson and Joe Broneak were the losing pitchers in the first and second games, respectively.
The Thunder host Vermilion Community College Wednesday at Braun Park. The first game is set for 3 p.m.
