Duluth tops Iron Range in all-star game

HIGH SCHOOL BOYS HOCKEY: Judd Peterson of Duluth Marshall scored two goals in the first period and Duluth East’s Dom Toninato added a pair as the Duluth All-Stars scored seven goals in the final two periods to defeat the Iron Range 9-5 in the St. Luke’s Orthopedic & Sports Medicine All-Star Game Tuesday night at Amsoil Arena.

Judd Peterson of Duluth Marshall scored two goals in the first period and Duluth East’s Dom Toninato added a pair as the Duluth All-Stars scored seven goals in the final two periods to defeat the Iron Range 9-5 in the St. Luke’s Orthopedic & Sports Medicine All-Star Game Tuesday night at Amsoil Arena.

Defensemen Jared Kolquist of Hermantown and Nate Repensky of Duluth East were named co-most valuable players.

Nate Mondry and Jake Bischoff of Grand Rapids each had a pair of goals for the Iron Range, which held leads of 2-0 and 3-2.
