Name released of man found dead in Carlton County house

The Carlton County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man found dead Friday in a home in Twin Lakes Township as Larry Ralph Martin.

The Sheriff’s Office said Friday they were investigating Martin’s death as suspicious. Martin was found dead in a home on County Road 4 after a dispatcher received a call from someone who looked in the window of the home and saw him lying on the floor. Officers arrived and entered the house to find Martin dead and a woman suffering from an “unknown medical condition.” Officials have not identified the woman or provided an update of her condition.

Carlton County Sheriff Kelly Lake said she expected to learn the cause of Martin’s death from autopsy results this week. Martin’s age and residence were not available Saturday evening.
