While the only area school to cancel for today was Fond du Lac Headstart program, the National Weather Service extended its winter storm warning to run through 9 p.m. today (Tuesday).
Another 3 to 5 inches of snow is expected to fall today, and northeast winds will increase to 15 - 20 mph this afternoon, becoming gusty at times. This combination of additional snow as well as blowing and drifting snow and lower temperatures means roads will be slick and hazardous into the evening. Visibility will be less than a quarter mile at times.
Here are the cancellations so far today. This list will be updated throughout the day. If you have a cancellation to report, please email jpeterson@pinejournal.com.
