Sandstrom named to All-UMAC Conference first team
Northwestern College senior Elissa Sandstrom of Cloquet carried the Eagles volleyball team this season as a middle hitter. The senior was named to the 2010 UMAC Women’s Volleyball All-Conference first team. Sandstrom, who was named to teh honorable mention all-conference list a year ago, finished third in the league in hitting percentage (.344) and fourth in kills (3.62 per set) in 14 UMAC matches. Sandstrom is a graduate of Carlton High School.
