Anders Broman nearly reached his average with 44 points to become Northeastern Minnesota’s second-leading scorer of all time and lead the seventh-ranked Lions (9-2) to the road win.

Anders Broman nearly reached his average with 44 points to become Northeastern Minnesota’s second-leading scorer of all time and lead the seventh-ranked Lions (9-2) to the road win.

Broman, a junior guard who entered the game averaging 45.8 points, increased his career point total to 2,979 to move past Duluth East graduate Cory Johnson into seventh place in state history. He is just 313 points behind Chisholm’s Joel McDonald as the area’s all-time scoring leader.
