Just to keep up our string of Good Samaritan tales, here’s a relatively low-budget one:
Terry Kirchhoff of Cloquet parked her car on Superior Street last week and was digging for change for the parking meter. She was talking on the phone at the same time and told her friend that, dang, she didn’t have any change.
“A gentleman overheard me who was walking by, reached into his pocket and handed me two quarters,” Kirchhoff said.
OK, that’s only 50 cents worth of generous, but it’s the thought that counts. And Kirchhoff says she’s grateful for his kindness.
