Teens throughout the Arrowhead’s network of 28 libraries, including Cloquet, submitted entries. Photographer Craig Blacklock judged the competition.
All winners received an autographed copy of a Blacklock book and his 2011 calendar.
Winning entries will be part of a traveling exhibit visiting all of the libraries in the Arrowhead System.
The Regional Winners of the Arrowhead Library Association’s Teen Photo Competition, as well as individual winners and entries from libraries in the Arrowhead Library System, are now on display at the Cloquet Public Library.
The display will rotate among participating libraries in the Arrowhead System, remaining in Cloquet through the end of the month.
Regional winners in the Enhanced Category are Samantha Camilli of Grand Rapids, first place; Anna Andrick of Virginia, second place; and Asha Fritsinger of Cloquet, third place.
In the Non-Enhanced Category are grand-prize and first-place winner Thomas Loewen of Babbitt; second place winner Mary Curnow of Buhl; and third place winner Rachel Rouse of Babbitt.
