LumberJill movie premiere to be held this Saturday
Jill LeBlah has never fit into her Mod City world. She's too busy chopping down trees, arm wrestling and eating pancakes to notice how different she is. Her parents, however, have had enough of her gauche behavior and send her away. Jill's journey leads her to Cloquet, an old logging town in northern Minnesota, where she, in the midst of magical lumberjacks and talking taxidermy, discovers...a home?
“LumberJill,” a film written by and starring Cloquet native Summer Hagen and directed by Tucker Lucas, will premiere Saturday, Sept. 4, at the Northeastern Saloon and Grille. Party starts at 7 p.m. and a special screening will be held at 9 p.m. For more information on the film, go online to www.facebook.com/lumberjillmovie.
