The Minnesota Wild held the first of two practices at Amsoil Arena in Duluth this morning.
The Wild will hold another closed-to-the-public practice at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in preparation of their 2011-12 NHL season opener against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday.
Saturday's game will be the first with Minnesota for new coach Mike Yeo and star forwards Dany Heatley and Devin Setoguchi.
