Installation service planned Sunday for Pastor Idell Kamppi

Pastor Idell Kamppi Stelly will be honored with an Installation Service on Sunday, Aug. 8, at 10:30 a.m. at The Jesus Center, Corner of Carlton and Main Streets, Barnum. Pastor Idell has already been ministering with her father, Pastor Hal Kamppi, in the Jesus Center Ministries. This will be the official Installation recognition.

Dr. Robert Cilke of North Central University will officiate. Dr. Cilke is not only a teaching professor, he has a broad range of ministering as a pastor and a pastor’s mentor as well as a denominational leader with a varied core of life-experiences from which to draw.

Pastor Idell is the eldest daughter of Pastor Hal and Jean Kamppi of Moose Lake. She graduated from Moose Lake High School in 1973. She attended the University of Minnesota after that. Ministry has been her life. Pastor Idell traveled for years with her father when he was a Denominational Officer. She later was involved in The Jesus People Revival in the 1970s as well as in the Charismatic Renewal, attending frequent international conferences on the Holy Spirit with the Lutheran Charismatic Renewal.

Pastor Idell has a son, Ryan Hal, and a daughter, Bianca Rae, along with a grandson, Jaden.
