Homeless sex offender plans to live near BarnumDustin Nelson initially reported he would be moving to the City of Moose Lake, now he says he will be moving to the Barnum Township area. There will be a public meeting Monday at 6:15 p.m. in the Barnum High School auditorium.

The Carlton County Sheriff’s Office has been informed that DUSTIN KENNETH LEE NELSON, date of birth 03-03-1983, a Level 3 Registered Predatory Offender will be moving to the Barnum Township Area, homeless. Minnesota Statute provides that an offender can be classified as homeless, but is required to physically report to the law enforcement jurisdiction once per week. This offender is not wanted by the police and has served the sentence imposed on him by the court.
Dustin Nelson initially reported he would be moving to the City of Moose Lake.
A Community Notification Meeting has been scheduled for Monday, August 2, 2010 at 6:15 pm at the Barnum High School Auditorium.
