Irene Olive (Bruley) Nummi, 93, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the Life Care Center in Lewiston, Idaho.

Irene Olive (Bruley) Nummi, 93, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the Life Care Center in Lewiston, Idaho. She was born April 2, 1917, to Edmond and Beulah Bruley. Irene married Vilio Nummi on Oct. 25, 1935, and was married for 73 years. She was a homemaker and an artist. She was a lifelong resident of Cloquet, Minn., until moving to Kamiah, Idaho, in 1980.

Irene was preceded in death her parents; brothers, Clifford, Alfred and Albert Bruley; one sister, Hazel Souza; granddaughter, Kristine Nummi; great-granddaughter, Sierra Ward; two sisters-in-law and one son-in-law.

Irene is survived by her husband, Vilio of Lewiston, Idaho; two daughters, Mary Ward of Saginaw, Minn., and Avis (David) Johnson of Yuma, Ariz.; two sons, Gerald "Sonny" (Lourine) Nummi of Kamiah and Don Nummi of Kooski, Idaho; two sisters, Alyce (Wayne) Rasanen of Duluth, Minn., and Ina Jean Simpson of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother, Edmond Gerald Bruley of Springfield, Ore.; seven grandchildren, Brenda Hutar (Dale Heikkila), Todd Ward, Debbie (Bill) Udart, Cheryl (Steve) Inglis, Janine (Dan) Gurrola, Scott (Rhonda) Johnson and Theresa Nummi; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Private family services will take place at a later date.
