Carlton won't cut teachers, may have another referendum

The Carlton School Board has taken proposed teacher cuts off the table.
The decision came after students, parents and teachers pleaded against the cuts at an emergency meeting Thursday night. The school board had been considering a plan to lay off three full–time teachers and cut 10 others to part–time.
Now they're planning to work on another referendum in November.
Teachers still do not have a contract. A mediation session is set for Monday.
