SUPERIOR, Wis. — High school students planning for college can learn more about academic programs and student life at the University of Wisconsin-Superior during its Spring Preview on Saturday, April 17.
Spring Preview runs from 1 to 4 p.m. in UW-Superior’s new Yellowjacket Union. Students can register now by calling (715) 394-8502 or by going online at www.uwsuper.edu/admissions.
“Spring Preview is an opportunity for high school students and their parents to learn how UW-Superior provides a challenging liberal arts education at an affordable price,” said Admissions Director Tonya Roth. “We talk about academic programs, how to apply, financial aid, scholarships, athletics and campus life. They also can talk to current students and tour the campus.”
Spring Preview participants will see the university’s newly renovated library and get an update on Swenson Hall, the $32 million academic building that will open in 2011. They’ll also have the option of attending a University Theatre production at no cost.
