The Carlton VFW provided Christmas dinners to 68 needy families in Carlton County this year. Volunteers organized boxes for each family to pick up their turkey or ham feast. Also included in the holiday gift box was a toy and a $10 Walmart gift card for each child. The toys were donated by community members and the food was purchased with funds from the VFW auction fundraiser held each year in December.
