Bring your lunch to the Cloquet Public Library on Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 12:30 p.m., to find out how the flute and violin make music. Join Betty Braunstein and Steve Highland, a flute and violin duo, to explore the connection between sound and science with items like a tuning fork, slinky, and a beaker of water! Hands on demonstrations, computer animations, and live music show why music to your ears is also music to your brain.
This Sound of Science presentation is part of the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra (DSS0) Music to You Program. It is funded in part, or in whole, with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008, which dedicated funding to preserve Minnesota's arts and cultural heritage. This program is sponsored by the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra (DSS0), the Cloquet Public Library, and the Arrowhead Library System.
